Corey Avery

Sophomore, Kansas Jayhawks

If there was ever a player to feel bad for, it would be Corey Avery. Honestly, if he actually had decent coaching, a passing game, or an offensive line, he could have been incredible as a running back last year. Many great ones have all three. Avery had none.

Yet, somehow, Avery still managed to put up 631 yards on 151 carries for a 4.2 yards per carry average and 5 touchdowns. It doesn’t seem like much, and that’s why he is not higher on this list.
