But we are not just stopping with the receiving numbers. Let’s show his versatility. Marshall proved he could play running back last year as well with 52 carries for 392 yards for a 7.5 yards per carry average and another touchdown.

The year before, in 2013, Marshall was a running back and rushed for 1,038 and 14 touchdowns. So honestly, he could be on both lists due to his ability to do everything. His numbers mandate that he is a receiver going into this year, but look out for this guy to be a Heisman candidate.

Here is a goal he should set for himself: 2,000 total yards and at least 750 yards in rushing and passing each.

Byron Marshall

Senior, Oregon Ducks

Talk about a do-it-all player. If any system holds back the chance for skill players to rack up lots of stats, it would be Oregon’s spread offense. The quarterback gets to rack up stats, but everybody else is supposed to have to split time.

Marshall is doing that just like everybody else, yet he somehow managed to catch 74 passes for 1,003 yards and 6 touchdowns. That’s incredible in this system, and he is expected to do even bigger things as he enters into his senior season.
