2. Who will step up opposite Will Fuller at wide receiver?

Last season Will Fuller had a fantastic season finishing with 76 receptions, 1094 yards and a staggering 15 touchdowns. Fuller was everything you could hope for and more from your go to wide out, as a guy that cannot be stopped and forces double coverage and respect from the defense.

Fuller’s talent and effort will not be in question this season and he will no doubt have a huge role in the offense once again, but someone will need to take some pressure off him. The most help will come from a wide receiver opposite him to spread out the field and open up the middle for Durham Smythe. Smythe should see a more important role this season and could be the next great tight end like Kyle Rudolph and Tyler Eifert before him (more on him later).

At wide receiver however the best bet in my opinion is Corey Robinson, who at 6’5” can be a mismatch no matter who is covering him. Robinson is still very raw at this point, but he is a good athlete and is impossible to cover on jump balls.

It will be interesting to see who looks to be the second guy based on talent and on the coaches trust in the spring game.
