4. Who’s Playing Wide Receiver?
Sudfeld will be back at quarterback this season but will he have anyone to throw the ball to on the outside?
2014 Stats for current players on the roster:
Shun Harris: 18 rec – 168 yards
Simmie Cobbs: 7 rec – 114 yards
Andre Booker: 1 rec – 21 yards
Ricky Jones: 3 rec – 58 yards
Dominique Booth: 8 rec – 70 yards
There is not a lot of production from the current wide receivers on the Hoosiers but they were able to sign another transfer from UAB, Marqui Hawkins. Hawkins was at Florida and then transferred to UAB, before the UAB canceled their football program.
No matter how you take the above information, the Indiana Hoosiers do not have a seasoned wide receiver on their roster and will need multiple playmakers to step up to take the pressure off the running game.
