3. Running out of running backs?
Alabama is known for producing great running backs in recent years. Heisman winner, Mark Ingram is just one of the many talented backs that have taken their game to the next level. This year the starting running back is none other than Derrick Henry.
Henry has already has a successful career playing second fiddle to T.J. Yeldon, but this year it is finally his time to shine. Backing Henry up, is the equally (if not more talented) Kenyan Drake. However Drake is coming back from a season-ending injury that is cause for concern going forward.
After those two the depth chart is nothing but question marks. Altee Tenpenny (transferred), Tyren Jones (dismissed) and Bo Scarborough (injury) will all miss Saturday’s game. Henry will get plenty of attention on Saturday, but anyone who wants to measure Alabama’s potential might want to watch redshirt freshman Ronnie Clark.
