4. Can Cam Cameron fix the Offense?

Offensively, there is no doubt LSU was a bit of a train wreck last year. Inconsistent quarterback play turned the Tigers into a one-dimensional team that was forced to beat teams without a passing attack. And that kind of inconsistency has put an uncomfortable spotlight on second-year offensive coordinator Cam Cameron.

It may be perfectly reasonable to blame the Tigers’ offensive woes on youth. Quarterback Anthony Jennings was a sophomore signal caller throwing to a wide receiver corps stocked full of freshmen, so growing pains are certainly a valid reason for why the offense sputtered in 2014.

But now that these young players have more experience under their belts, Tiger Nation is expecting Cameron’s tutelage and their talent to elevate their games. Saturday’s spring game will be the first chance for fans to see how far Cameron’s offense has come.

Bottom line is, for the Tigers to have any hope of making any noise in the SEC West in 2015, the offense must improve. And that’s on Cameron.
