Ohio State has done very well with NFL talent, and most of the players are every bit as good as advertised. From Jim Tressel to Urban Meyer, the talent has just been coming through for a while, and it won’t stop any time soon.

After winning the national championship in 2014, Ohio State will be sending plenty of players to the NFL, including a potential top-five pick in Joey Bosa.

The best part about the Buckeyes is they have diverse talent as well, not just certain positions. Linebackers, defensive backs, wide receivers, running backs, linemen, and even a kicker. You can’t get much better than that.

Ohio State Buckeyes

Players Drafted: 53, First Round Picks: 13

There’s A.J. Hawk, Malcolm Jenkins, Cameron Heyward, Ted Ginn, Jr., Anthony Gonzalez for a little while, Santonio Holmes, Donte Whitner, Beanie Wells, Bobby Carpenter, Nick Mangold, Ryan Shazier, Mike Nugent, even Mike Adams and Bradley Roby along with a few others.

These are all guys from Ohio State to pan out pretty well in the NFL. Almost everybody taken in the first round has had an impact somewhat except for Vernon Gholston, but even he got to see some action in the NFL.
