Trae Waynes. 11. player. 60.
Minnesota Vikings began to get better on defense in 2014 through the draft. With Teddy Bridgewater developing, Adrian Peterson coming back and now perfect trade bait for more skill players, the addition of Mike Wallace, and Cordarelle Patterson expected to return to form, the focus has to be on that side of the ball again.

Marcus Mariota doesn’t belong here either with Bridgewater, who is clearly showing himself already to be the best quarterback in last year’s draft.

Trae Waynes should be the next guy the Vikings draft. He is a very aggressive cornerback with rare speed at the same time, shown by his 4.3-40 run at the combine. Waynes will likely get quite a few penalties because he loves to bump and run, but he’s always fast enough to recover if the receiver gets off the bump.

Last year at Michigan State, Waynes deflected eight passes and had three interceptions, but remember that he was already established, so hardly anybody threw the ball his way. Even those numbers in a run-oriented conference focused on avoiding him were remarkable.

People do not try him, and he will be a serious force in the NFL.
. Cornerback. Michigan State Spartans
