12. player. 53.
The Cleveland Browns are another team that could draft Marcus Mariota, and there is a strong chance they would do it. After the Johnny Manziel fiasco, character counts with them.

But another distraction with a quarterback who has so many questions is simply too risky, and nobody there could tailor Mariota’s skills. So, with the drama surrounding Josh Gordon, how about another receiver?

DeVante Parker is the perfect guy for whomever becomes the quarterback. He does not have the rare skills that Amari Cooper or Kevin White has, and he is not as strong as he should be, nor is he a good route-runner. But all those things come with time, and Parker is still a very good size.

At 6’2″ 207 pounds, Parker dealt with drastic changes in quarterback styles last year between Will Gardner and Reggie Bonnafon while under a new offensive system, but he still managed to c come down with 43 receptions for 855 yards.

His major weakness is separation and getting open, and his inability to consistently do that caused a few coverage sacks last year, but he could develop and improve there. He’s worth the Browns taking a shot at.
. Wide Receiver. Louisville Cardinals. DeVante Parker
