Malcom Brown
DT, Texas
Malcom Brown was one of the few bright spots for Texas in recent years and the 320-pound defensive tackle may be the best interior run defender in the entire draft. I think he hears his name between No. 10 and No. 20 and would be an absolute steal if he somehow slips beyond the top-20 picks.
He had 13 tackles for loss and six sacks last year but I think he’ll just be an average pass rusher from the inside. But that’s okay because his ability on first and second down will keep him in the league for a very long time. He may not have Pro Bowl upside, but worst-case scenario you get a 10-year starter who makes the rest of his teammates better by occupying blockers no matter the scheme.
