Bud Dupree

OLB, Kentucky

Bud Dupree was one of my favorite college players the last three years at Kentucky where he did everything his coaches asked of him and played all over the field. Whether he was playing outside linebacker or defensive end, Dupree showed the ability to make plays and many of them behind the line of scrimmage.

The 6-4, 270-pounder is best suited as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense where he can use his off-the-charts athleticism and explosiveness and get after the quarterback. That trait is always in high demand and that’s why Dupree could hear his name called as high as the No. 7 pick and should be taken in the top half of the first at worst.
