Ingram could very well become a valuable member of the New Orleans Saints offense, but through four years, he has not lived up to Heisman hype.

If his career ended right now, he would at least be a Heisman bust. But that does not mean he is an NFL bust.

Perhaps the Saints use him more this year so they can try to take some of the ridiculous amount of pressure off of Drew Brees.

Mark Ingram

Running Back, 2011 NFL Draft: Round 1, Pick 28 (New Orleans Saints)

Based on where he was drafted, Mark Ingram has done a decent job meeting certain expectations since he came into the league as an NFL running back. But when you consider his success as a Heisman Trophy winner, that job performance deteriorates quickly.

A Heisman-winning running back who has not had a 1,000-yard rushing season after four years in the NFL is an under-achiever. Ingram is not a bust. He is at least reliable, and last year was his best year yet with nine touchdowns and 964 yards rushing on 226 attempts for an average of nearly four and a half yards per carry plus another 29 receptions for 145 yards.
