The 2015 NFL Draft First Round is in the books. Here are the biggest steals and the future busts from the first round.


Perhaps what was most surprising of the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft was the fact that lots of teams went all chalk. Nobody made any crazy trades, lots of teams drafted to fill their needs, and there were a few surprising first-round picks.

But taking all of that into account, there were still quite a few steals in the first round of this year’s draft. And there was also a good bit of picks that, well, make you scratch your head.

It’s about a 50/50 chance that your first round pick turns out to be really successful, which is much better than other rounds, but it still is shockingly low given the hype behind so many of the players.

And there were still a few risks taken by teams looking for the best player. The chances of success for some of them are still heavily up in the air. But there are some definite sure bets to work out, and there are definitely some sure busts.
