STEAL

30.
Even as a borderline Top Five draft pick, Leonard Williams was a major steal by the New York Jets. They were probably looking to upgrade on the offensive side of the football. But when a guy of Williams’s caliber falls into your lap, you take him.

Williams should have been a Top Two pick, and I would not have objected to him going No. 1 in the draft even over Jameis Winston. He is that much of a sure bet.
<div class=. DE (USC Trojans). Round 1, Pick 6 (New York Jets). Leonard Williams. 1. player

A 6’5″ 302 pound defensive end, Williams is very versatile and can line up either in the middle or on the outside. Think Albert Haynesworth with character and a work ethic. The guy showed his versatility with seven sacks last year along with an interception and 48 solo tackles. There is nothing that this guy cannot do.

He will immediately help the Jets have potentially the best defensive line in the NFL now, and the team might overall have the best defense. Williams turns them from a very good defense into a potentially all-time great defense.

This is a steal of epic proportions, and one team in particular royally screwed up by not taking Williams before he fell to the Jets. We are going to that team now.
