With a 6’5″ 250 pound frame, Jones has a rare huge size for a quarterback, and he displayed a rare amount of accuracy for a quarterback that big. We just lamented against quarterbacks in the NFL coming from Urban Meyer’s system. That and his lack of experience playing a full season are the only things keeping Jones lower on this list.
But Jones is different from the other guys who have run Meyer’s system. He is much bigger, has a better arm all the way around, and looks like he could easily fit into a pro-style offense if he had to. All he has to do is improve his completion rate and show what he can do for a full season.

Junior, Ohio State Buckeyes
A late bloomer onto the scene, three epic performances on the three biggest stages possible for one season has thrust Cardale Jones into the Top Five of our NFL Draft board for quarterbacks next year. And he might not even start on his own team.
Jones became the star of the Buckeyes after going 46 of 75 his final three games for 742 yards and five touchdowns to only two interceptions. Add in his 90 rushing yards along with another touchdown, and he took over the show when it mattered most.
