Just like with SMU, Houston could make a great deal of sense for Golson and for Houston. They also have a first-year head coach in Tom Herman who won the Broyles Award as the nation’s top assistant last year for his work with the Ohio State quarterbacks. Herman can tailor his offense to fit Golson and bring him up to speed in a hurry just like he did with J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones during the Buckeyes championship season in 2014.
