Boyd is a great NFL size at 6’2″ if he can add some weight to his 190-pound frame, but his speed is incredible. His height and speed together make him kind of like the Breshad Perriman of next year’s NFL Draft if he decides to come out, and if his numbers improve the way they should, there is no reason to believe he will not. Add in the fact that he is a return specialist, and he is everything you want.

Boyd has probably the most raw potential of anybody in this draft. And with a new coaching staff this year, perhaps he could be used even more. That would make his draft stock improve even more.

Tyler Boyd spent all of last year dealing with a first-year starter at quarterback in Chad Voytik, a running back in James Conner who is such a star that he would only naturally see the bulk of the action, and a head coach in Paul Chryst who likes to utilize more of the power-running game than the passing game.

Because of all of that, his numbers were flat-out ridiculous. After 1,174 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 2013, his productivity actually increased after all of that lost talent with 78 receptions for 1,261 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. He also had 63 rushing yards.
