Ginny Weasley – Mark Helfrich

Mark Helfrich definitely waited his turn to become the head coach of the Oregon Ducks. He spent four years as the Ducks offensive coordinator before he was tapped to take over after Chip Kelly. However, even during his time in the background Helfrich proved his coaching prowess by shaping Oregon’s offense into the high-powered scoring machine we see today.

Helfrich’s career seems to parallel the story of Ginny Weasley. Ginny is in the background of the Harry Potter story for the first few years, but emerges into a prominent strong, powerful witch. Let’s not forget it’s her stunning spell that ultimately destroyed the entire Department of Mysteries. She becomes a fierce member of Dumbledore’s Army, supporting Harry no matter what they have to do or where they have to go. And she even stepped up to face off against Bellatrix Lestrange in the Battle of Hogwarts.

Helfrich has proven that he is a strong leader on his own, just as Ginny has. His loyalty to the Oregon program is on par with Gryffindor standards. And I think this moment on the Quidditch pitch, when Harry is struggling, illustrates just how Helfrich-y Ginny is:
