NFL Draft 2016: Ranking the Top 10 Offensive Linemen

As Alexander enters his senior season, he will have a chance to prove he is a first-round draft choice with his gigantic, 6’6″ 320 pound frame. La’el Collins is gone, meaning Alexander’s performance this year will truly show how good he is and whether or not he is a product of playing next to Collins.
This gives him a very good chance to shine extremely bright, and with no Collins but lots of expectations this time around, the pressure is going to be on him to perform. He can’t use the surrounded by youth excuse this year. So if LSU’s offense dramatically improves this year, look at Alexander’s impact on that.

Alexander
Guard-Senior, LSU Tigers
Yes, we are turning to an offensive guard for our next player on this list. Too often guards do not get noticed, but when you consider what Vadal Alexander dealt with last year, his performance was remarkable. And he will be playing tackle this year anyway, showing his versatility.
Alexander had to deal with one of the youngest offenses in all of college football that had no experience playing together, and he was blocking for a cluster of terrible quarterbacks. Although the running backs were great, it took blocking by Alexander to open holes for them since they had no help in the passing game.
