Kentucky Wildcats

Miley Cyrus-Can’t be Tamed

This is before Miley Cyrus went crazy. But it obviously alluded to that becoming the possibility.

Anyway, don’t take this the wrong way Wildcats fans. It is a more perfect fit that you can imagine. First off, she is using the metaphor of an animal like a lion or a tiger that can’t be tamed, and both of those things are wild cats.

You guys are the Wildcats.

On top of that, Cyrus has roots in Kentucky, where her father Billy Ray Cyrus is from, and she also grew up in Tennessee right around bluegrass country.

So, yes, it is a good combination for you guys to play this song. It would be perfect for basketball as well, given that Coach John Calipari can’t be tamed with his dominance on the recruiting trail.

But on the football field, it is a way for you guys as a football program trying to move up the ladder to strike the sound of intimidation, particularly when teams are coming into Lexington to play.

Who would not get extremely amped over this? All Wildcats fans could have signs saying “Can’t be Tamed,” and they would love to dance to this song when it comes on.
