BYU Cougars
T.I.-Big Things Poppin’
The BYU Cougars have consistently been a program swept aside by the masses and the public despite a long history of winning, even coming away with a national championship one year. If you mention BYU with the likes of other elites, you get laughed at.
But when they establish themselves among the elites, they often back it up with success.
This is a good fit for this particular T.I. song. In Big Things Poppin (Do It), he notes that when he came out and said he was King, the hip hop masses started laughing at him and not taking him seriously. But as he noted, the same people now want him on the track with them.
Many fans who laugh at BYU would love to schedule them for another game. BYU does big things and does not let little things get in their way. So they keep on winning and competing with the big boys in college football despite not being in a Power Five conference.
And the college football world has been forced to accept their success over the past half a century along with their relevance on the college football stage. As T.I. said, do it to the maximum.
