Seal-Fly Like an Eagle

Obviously, this is self explanatory. The Boston College Eagles are the Eagles, and “Fly Like an Eagle” is a perfect fit.

We picked the Seal version over the Steve Miller Band version for three reasons: the Seal version is already relevant to sports since it was featured in “Space Jam,” the Seal version is more recent, and honestly, the Seal version is better.

But from a music perspective, the difference would be impossible to notice, so it does not really matter. The band could play this song easily.

To make this even more impressive, Boston College could do a music video with the song featuring the epic Doug Flutie Hail Mary pass to beat the Miami Hurricanes in the 1980s on display. After all, that ball flew like an eagle.

And it is a huge part of college football history, particularly Boston College history.

Ironically, given the system Steve Addazio runs, Boston College’s offensive system does not translate to flying like an eagle since he does not throw it as much, but the flying part is more along the lines of soaring as a program.

And once again, they are the Eagles, so it is a perfect fit.
