Eminem-Lose Yourself

If we are going to Michigan, you might as well pull the biggest artist out of Michigan in the past generation for a fight song, right? And who can sleep on “Lose Yourself,” one of the biggest hip hop songs of all time.

This would have all the fans at the stadium hype as heck as the background music plays. The low brass would do the guitar part, and it could be the trumpets this time playing a background role and doing a bit of harmonizing. The saxophones could create a monotone rhythm to coincide with Eminem’s rapping.

And all of the fans would likely rap out the verses as the song is played because of how many people know the song. Even people who do not like rap love this song, and people who do like rap are obviously going to be obsessed with this song.

And you are in Michigan, so you know you are dealing with a cult fan base that will love Eminem music no matter what there.

There is a specific reason we picked this song for Michigan State and not Michigan as well. Eminem’s daughter, Hailie Mathers, goes to Michigan State. And in recent time, the Spartans have overtaken the Wolverines for state power.
