Arizona State Sun Devils

Taio Cruz-Dynamite

While the Arizona Wildcats are a perfect representation of the culture of Pac-12 schools and their football, the in-state rival Arizona State Sun Devils are not much different. So let’s pick a similar song from the same time period to represent them.

That means Taio Cruz’s Dynamite.

This is a happy song that everybody enjoys, from college kids partying to members of The Today Show on NBC. Everybody can dance to this song, and everybody gets happy when this song comes on. It is also a summer song, and it’s pretty much always summer at Arizona State, right?

Fans of the Sun Devils may have gone to football games to watch their team win, but they really went out that day to dance, dance, dance, dance. It is all about the fun, whether or not the football team wins or loses, and that needs to be represented.

Once again, the saxophones and low brass provide the beat, and the french horns play the verses while the trumpets play the chorus. And when a good play happens, the fans can all shout, “Dynamite!” This is a great song that everybody can get up for hearing and enjoying.
