No. 5: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Why they can win it: Solid Defense, Big Running Game, Tough to Defend
What help will they need: Depth at the A-back position, Better Pass Defense
Who’s in their way: Florida State, Clemson

Georgia Tech surprised a lot of people last season, and they’ll be just as tough to beat in 2015. Quarterback Justin Thomas isn’t going to be mistaken for Marcus Mariota anytime soon, but he’s the perfect guy to run Paul Johnson’s triple-option attack.

The Jackets’ weakness has always been depth. They work in a system, and if any position falls short it can become a hiccup for the entire unit.

A healthy Georgia Tech team can match up well with just about anyone in the ACC, and will be a team to watch as November rolls around.
