Week 3- Stanford at USC
Auburn at LSU and Ole Miss at Alabama are two premium SEC games that ESPN normally would be fawning over to get to either location and for good reason considering how rabid those fan bases are and how successful the teams are expected to be this year.
Last year’s trip to Ole Miss for the Alabama game was one of the highlights of the year and LSU is arguably the best stadium and fan experience in the country, but for Week 3 I think we’re headed out west to California for the Stanford at USC game. I just can’t see Alabama a part of two of the first three GameDay presentations.
USC is expected to be a top-five team and a national title contender and Stanford is as consistent of a program as you’re gonna see so this has the promise for a great game and great atmosphere.
ESPN really can’t go wrong with LSU, Alabama or USC this week, but they’ll know the SEC cities will give them a number of opportunities to visit later in the year.
