Minnesota’s Jerry Kill Will Be Named Coach of the Year

Want to know who’s been slowly building something really good in the Big Ten, and my see some significant results in 2015? How about Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill.

The Gophers were one of those teams on the cusp last season, and almost had fans believing. Watch them carefully this season, because if they play up to their potential and their incoming freshman perform as hoped, the Golden Gophers could find themselves in a Big Ten title game against Ohio State.

Seem far-fetched? Don’t forget that Minnesota beat Michigan, Iowa and a ranked Nebraska team last season, and gave Wisconsin and Ohio State everything they could handle. Improvements to the offensive line are what was needed, and that seems to be happening.

Gophers make a run in the Big Ten, and Kill is your FBS Coach of the Year.
