Only One Power-5 School Will Have a Repeat Champion

There will be a lot of new faces on top of the Power-5 conferences at the end of this season, and when all is said and done, only Ohio State will sit as a repeat champion from 2014.

The SEC, ACC, Big 12 and Pac-12 will all have new champions…so fans of Alabama, Florida State, Oregon and TCU/Baylor should all prepare for a little disappointment.

Ohio State is just that good, and the rest of the Big Ten is still catching up. The defending champions from the other conferences are still quality teams, but they have a lot more competition this season and will have a tough time winning it again.

Who will those champions be? Here’s a few early guesses at possible championship game matchups.
