Larry Fedora

Head Coach, North Carolina

Larry Fedora came to North Carolina and made an immediate impact with eight wins and tied for the division lead despite the team being on probation due to NCAA sanctions. In the two years since he has won seven and six games as the team has regressed with the more time he’s been at Chapel Hill and his team suffered embarrassing defeats to East Carolina when they allowed 70 points and weren’t even competitive in a 35-7 home loss to NC State.

With new defensive coordinator Gene Chizik running the unit they should be much improved on that side of the ball and I think that’s good for 1-2 wins. Plus with quarterback Marquise Williams back after a promising 2014 season and good stable of running backs, including breakout candidate Elijah Hood, the Tar Heels should be back to an eight-win team and spare Fedora from getting the axe.
