Satellite Camps Overblown?

Nick Saban said he wasn’t upset about Jim Harbaugh having satellite camps in the southeast but he doesn’t agree with it. The head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide would rather see consistent rules among the Power 5 conferences so everyone is playing by the same rules.

Gus Malzahn said the whole thing was blown out of proportion and he said a player in Alabama isn’t going to leave the state if either Auburn or Alabama wants an in-state recruit.

Steve Spurrier mentioned the SEC rules being what they are and the SEC is playing by those rules, so perhaps we see a rule change that could change the way recruiting is done in fertile recruiting grounds like the southeast.
