With so many good teams in the Pac-12, its puzzling to think how UCLA fans honestly look at themselves as more than also-rans.

  • Yes, Jim Mora has really made improvements to the football program, and the upgrades to the facilities have been wonderful. The Bruins have played some pretty good football and have even upstaged rival USC a few times.

    But they are far from championship caliber.

    Oregon, USC, Arizona, Stanford and even Arizona State should be given serious consideration as favorites before UCLA. The pick-up in recruiting success has only fueled the fire for these delusional fans who don’t seem to realize that a 10-3 season is probably the best they’ll get out of Mora and the talent they have.

    There’s still the matter of who will replace Brett Hundley at quarterback, and what the Bruins can do to actually stop teams from scoring, as even in 2014 wins they were giving up 25-30 points per game.
