This season, however, UCLA will be without Hundley, and will likely start true freshman quarterback, and the number one quarterback recruit in the country, Josh Rosen.

Rosen will have his hands full with this USC group, but since the Trojans and Bruins play in the second to last week of the season, Rosen will time to develop before he’s thrown into his first game against USC.

USC-UCLA should be a big game this season, especially after the last three seasons, but I fully expect the Trojans to get their first win against the Bruins since 2011, when the Trojans won big, 50-0.

USC vs. UCLA

Los Angeles, CA, Pac-12

UCLA/USC has been a series dominated by the Trojans since the turn of the century, but the UCLA Bruins have defeated the Trojans three years in a row. USC holds a series lead over UCLA, (44-31-7), but in the past three games between the two schools, UCLA has defeated the Trojans by an average of 16 points per game, including last season’s blowout victory, 38-20.

Last season, both teams entered the game ranked inside the top 20, but it was UCLA and Brett Hundley who stole the show that night. Hundley threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns in UCLA’s dominating win over the Trojans.

This season, however, UCLA will be without Hundley, and will likely start true freshman quarterback, and the number one quarterback recruit in the country, Josh Rosen.
