Why it’s bad: Alternate Logo, Alternate Helmets
The traditional Indiana uniform with the large block I on the helmet and splashes of the garnet red throughout isn’t terrible. It’s not great, but it’s at least classic looking. The alternates, however…
The all-white unis (seen above) mixed with that oddly designed alternate helmet just don’t get it done. Throw in that secondary logo that looks more like King Neptune’s trident rather than a school brand, and you’ve got a mixture to forget.
What’s worse is when they throw in the vertical candy stripe pants. Probably the second worst uniform in all of football behind the Pittsburgh Steelers bumblebee throwbacks.
