Why it’s bad: Copycatting, Color Use, Alternates
So, let’s try to look as close to the USC Trojans as we can without infringing on trademarks. Sorry Iowa State, but you’re busted.
Outside of trying to look like they come from Southern California, the unis aren’t that bad…until you get to their alternates. All yellow jersey and pants, metallic helmets, and a really weird color fade jersey are just a few of the mistakes the Cyclones made in their non-primary uniforms.
The Cyclones have a good start in color choices, they just need to be more original. On the plus side, their standard helmet logo is very good.
