Why it’s bad: All Helmets, Single Color Unis

There isn’t much you can do with a Beaver as a mascot in terms of helmet logos, so Oregon State has tried it all – blank helmets, uniform numbers only, that horrid Beaver logo – and none of it works.

Perhaps the black satin helmet (seen above) with white uniform numbers and without the big fat middle stripe would be the best mix.

The other thing the Beavers do badly is single color — all black or all orange — uniforms. Those colors need one half white to make things balance.
