Why it’s bad: Logo, Alternate Unis

As easy as it would be to make fun of Virginia Tech’s colors, there isn’t much that can be done about it. They are the school colors and the uniforms have to reflect that.

But the Hokies could definitely do with a new helmet logo. The old VT logo really looks like a 70s throwback. For a school that’s been around this long, they should be using a much more classic looking logo that reflects the bold font and stripes on their uniform.

When the Hokies really look horrible is in their alternate unis, with that wacky rock wall helmet or Tampa Bay Buccaneers pumpkin orange and white headgear and the accompanying jerseys. Whoever approved those combinations should be used as a pylon next season.
