Louisville Cardinals

Why it’s bad: Logo, Jersey Font, Alternate Helmets

Truthfully the white jersey, white helmet uniforms that Louisville wears on the road aren’t that horrible. Although a little reminiscent of the NFL St. Louis/Arizona Cardinals, they are at least somewhat palatable.

But the black uniforms with the white-trimmed numbers just look terrible, and then when you combine that with the oversized logo helmet it gets even worse.

It’s hard to make a cardinal look mean, so Louisville should stop trying.

They’ve got some great primary colors to work with if they’d use them in the right combinations, and get rid of the modern lettering and numbering on the jerseys.

When are teams going to learn that all black just isn’t a good look?
