Why it’s bad: Helmets, Color Use

Just because your school is named Northwestern doesn’t mean your helmet logo should look like an Oregon Trail font used in Windows 3.1.

The Wildcats have the advantage of a wonderful deep purple color, but they overuse it way too much. The all-purple unis and purple helmets make them look like a team full of Grimaces on the field.

Some alternating colors and perhaps a shoulder stripe would really enhance the uniform look, and the “N” as the logo is fine, but it should be in a block font, not that whatever-it-is.
