This game is Auburn’s first true road game and playing in Death Valley is one of the toughest environments to play, especially for a quarterback in Johnson who will be making his fifth career start this week.

Auburn fans are hoping, by that time, that their young offense will have clicked, as they head into one of the most treacherous stadiums in all of college football, against one of the toughest teams in college football.

Last season, Auburn’s defense put up their most valiant effort of the season, holding the Tigers to a first quarter touchdown, and that was it. This year, Auburn will hope for more of the same, except this time around, the Tigers will have to stop sophomore phenom, Leonard Fournette.

The former No. 1 recruit in the nation may have to run for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns for LSU to pull off the upset, but he’ll get a heavy workload with their questions at quarterback and to keep the ball away from a potentially potent Auburn offense.

Auburn at LSU

Baton Rouge, LA, SEC

Why is this game so high? Didn’t Auburn beat LSU by 34 points last season?

Auburn vs. LSU always makes for a good football game, but last year was the exception. Auburn had a field day against LSU, but this season will be much different from the last.
