Just as Treadwell was about to score what was likely going to be the game-winning touchdown, he fumbled, and suffered an awful lower limb injury that kept him out for the remainder of the season. Auburn went on to win the game, 35-31, and the Ole Miss Rebels lost their second straight game.

Hopefully this season’s game won’t end with an awful injury to a very talented player, but I expect the results may be the same, as the Rebels will travel to Auburn and play a very tough Auburn football team at Jordan-Hare.

Regardless of who wins, this year’s game is a must-watch, as the Rebels and Tigers are set to play on Halloween night at Jordan-Hare.

Last year’s game between the Ole Miss Rebels and the Auburn Tigers produced one of the most exciting games in all of college football last season.

The game was highlighted by a season-ending injury to then sophomore wide receiver, Laquon Treadwell, one of the most exciting players to watch in college football.
