If the South Carolina game was Kenny Hill’s coming out performance, the Alabama game was Hill’s coming in performance. Alabama romped and routed A&M, 59-0, in what was an absolute disaster game for the Aggies’ defense.
Alabama scored 45 first half points against the Aggies and had 602 total yards on offense, while holding the A&M offense to only 172.
I can imagine Kevin Sumlin has nightmares about this game; I know I would. It was an absolute massacre. This season, however, the Aggies will get Alabama at home, hoping for a better result this time around.
If Texas A&M has any chance of winning the SEC west this year or any year they have to beat Alabama to be taken seriously otherwise they’re just going to be a fun team to watch that wins eight games each year. This is a prime opportunity to take advantage of an Alabama secondary that could have problems defending the Aggies group of receivers.
