Plenty of attention has been paid to the players on the field and the coaches on the sideline and in the coaches booth, but college football is being inundated by new and flashy uniforms.

Sure, alternate uniforms and throwback uniforms have an effect on recruiting, no matter how big or small, they seem to be attracted to programs because of their fashion sense as much as their educational and athletic benefits.

Today, the Cincinnati Bearcats were the latest to unveil their new uniforms from Under Armour as more colleges are inking deals with the sports apparel giant.

Courtesy of the Cincinnati Bearcats official twitter account, a few snapshots of the new uniforms, helmets, gloves and cleats were displayed and the overall reaction seems to be favorable.

The uniform isn’t a radical change from the look they sported and that’s not a bad thing, because there wasn’t anything wrong with the look. The most radical change is the old Adidas logo has been replaced by the Under Armour logo.

In any event, get ready to see quarterback Gunner Kiel to throw about 35 touchdown passes in these uniforms and have the Bearcats competing for the American conference championship.
