3. Saturday, October 3: Clemson vs. Notre Dame

A huge game at home, Clemson will take on Notre Dame in their fourth game in 2015. The Fighting Irish were ranked 11, one ahead of Clemson in the AP Preseason Top 25 poll. This will be a huge game for both squads, as two of the best teams in the nation will go head-to-head.

After Everett Golson transferred to Florida State, Notre Dame had to rely on junior quarterback Malik Zaire. The dual-threat quarterback is nowhere near Watson’s level, but he will be a huge factor in the outcome of the game, either in a good way or a bad way.

Notre Dame also has 10 defensive starters returning this year and should be able to improve upon their already solid defense from last year. Working together for another year will play a huge factor down the stretch and may even be shown early on against a newer Clemson defense.

This game will be among the top must-see games in 2015 and will be a very close game. Clemson is at home, which give them the edge in a hard-fought battle.
