Georgia Tech Football: Five Most Important Games for Yellow Jackets in 2015

1. Georgia Tech vs. Florida State – October 24
Winning against the defending ACC champions will be huge for the Yellow Jackets. Making a statement late in the season can not only catapult Georgia Tech up the rankings and maybe atop the ACC.
Even with Florida State losing many of its players to the NFL, they are among the league’s best – ranked eighth in the preseason poll. Rebuilding the team to a premier level of competition is head coach Jimbo Fisher’s speciality and it starts with the quarterback battle between Notre Dame transfer Everett Golson and Sean Maguire.
The last time these two teams played, Georgia Tech kept the game close, but could not put the game away, losing 37-35. If this was ever the year to knock out Florida State, at least on paper, this would be the year they do so with the Seminoles in a transition year.
