Rosen will be thrown to the wolves with Jerry Neuheisel likely serving as the backup, but the nation’s No. 1 quarterback recruit has the talent to lead the Bruins to the Playoff. With 18 returning starters the true freshman inherits an ideal situation. His offensive line has accumulated the most returning starts in the country, and he impressed in the Bruin’s spring game. Rosen is looking to have an all-time true freshman season, but it’ll take a lot to get the Bruins into the national conversation.

Josh Rosen

QB, UCLA

Josh Rosen, widely regarded as the best quarterback in last years recruiting class, joined UCLA this spring as the favorite to win the starting job and replace Brett Hundley. The shoes to fill are huge. LikeShaq’s shoes huge.

Hundley is one of the best quarterbacks UCLA has ever seen. Yes, he even ranks up with Troy Aikman. What he did for UCLA is unforgettable, helping them rise from the ashes. Hundley took UCLA from a team petitioning for a bowl bid to a team that was looked at as a national threat. Hundley finished his career ranked first on the school career touchdown list with 75, first in total offense, second in passing yards, first in completions and second on the career win list with 29.
