24. Lucas Oil Stadium

Indianapolis, Indiana

Capacity: 63,421

What makes it great: Lucas Oil is another stadium that doesn’t mess around with the small games. In addition to hosting the NFL Draft Combine and being the home of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium has also been the host of the Big Ten Championship game since the Big Ten divided into two divisions in 2011.

Greatest game played: The greatest college game played here was also without a doubt the first college game played here. In 2011, the Wisconsin Badgers and the Michigan State Spartans met to battle it out in the first Big Ten Championship game.

A rematch of a game played earlier that season, which Michigan State won in dramatic fashion, this game did not fail to deliver on its expected theatrics.

Wisconsin jumped out to a 21-7 lead after the first quarter thanks to two rushing touchdowns from running back Montee Ball, and in spite of a Michigan State rally to retake the lead by halftime, the Badgers scratched and clawed their way to a 42-39 victory and the Big Ten Championship. Montee Ball finished the game with 137 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, with another touchdown coming on a fourth quarter reception from quarterback Russell Wilson.
