He is a first team preseason All-ACC member and deservedly so. There wasn’t much that Scott couldn’t do, he even ran the ball six times as a freshman. Watching him this coming season, we should see even more of his turbo speed and unparalleled ball-skills.

Using his jets, he should be able to open the field up even more for the ACC’s best quarterback in Deshaun Watson, who can use the open space to improve on his own to make bigger plays down the field to other receivers and zoned tailbacks. Speed kills and Artavis has the countries best defenses in his cross-heirs.

Ultimately, the Tigers go as Watson goes but Scott could play a big part in how efficiently the offenses operates from the very first snap of the season.

Scott has the potential to be the best in the conference but will have to overtake the next two players in the rankings.

Artavis Scott*

Wide Receiver, Clemson

Another one of the “Super Sophomore’s” in the conference, Artavis Scott is one of the two-headed Clemson monster’s they run out to the field at wide receiver.

His numbers as a number-two receiver are what many number-one receivers wish they could have. In 2014, he started six games amassing 76 receptions with 965 yards and eight touchdowns landing him on the first team freshman All-American team.
