Nov 16, 2013; Pittsburgh, PA, USA; North Carolina Tar Heels wide receiver Ryan Switzer (3) runs with the ball and scores on a sixty-one yard punt return for a touchdown against the Pittsburgh Panthers during the fourth quarter at Heinz Field. It was Switzer

He earned third team All-ACC honors as a sophomore and in 2015 should be used more as a receiver than a returner. He could develop as a heck of a slot-receiver, resembling Wes Welker in his prime(when he was durable).

The comparison of Switzer and Welker as receivers is oddly ironic for the fact that when he comes to the return game, Switzer is three touchdowns shy of Welkers mark (8) at Texas Tech. All five of his return touchdowns came in 2013 as a freshman when he was the first true freshman in North Carolina history to receive first team All-American honors for his role on special teams.

With the improvement of quarterback Marquise Williams, I see Switzer improving also as an offensive weapon.

Ryan Switzer

Wide Receiver, North Carolina

You may be thinking right away that Switzer is ranked a tad low. You could be right, but let me explain one thing. He is a phenomenal playmaker, especially in the return game, but solely as a receiver, this is the best place for him.

As a sophomore he continued to impress. Despite being relatively short, standing 5-foot-10, his effort pushes him beyond that size. In 2014 he caught 61 passes for 757 yards and found the end-zone four times through the air.
