2. Thursday, September 17: Louisville vs. Clemson

Louisville will play an intra-division game against one of the best teams in the ACC. The preseason 12-ranked Clemson Tigers will travel into Louisville on Thursday night. This game is on primetime and will have millions of viewers watching.

The defensive game plan for the Cardinals will be centered around Heisman hopeful and dual-threat quarterback Deshaun Watson. Though he is returning from a torn ACL and had the injury bug all of 2014, Watson was one of the most productive players while healthy. In 2014, he finished with 1,466 yards, 14 touchdowns, and two interceptions. He completed 68 percent of his passes and showed off his legs, rushing for 200 yards and five touchdowns. If Louisville wants to come out on top, limiting Watson and the Clemson offense will be a must.

One of the best offenses with a just as dominant defense. Clemson will only have four defensive starters returning for the upcoming season, but have done well to make up for the losses recruiting-wise. Their best recruit is five-star defensive lineman Christian Wilkins, who will help make this Tigers defense among the best yet again in 2014.

Louisville defeating one of the best teams in all of college football would be a huge statement. This is a tall-order to take, especially on a prime time slot, but the team will need to be 100 percent ready and take advantage of missed opportunities come September 17.
