Once you tone down the Harbaugh hype, it’s clear which Big Ten match-up should be the most anticipated on the 2015 schedule. Ohio State and Michigan State have been the clear-cut top teams in the conference the past two seasons, with the teams splitting the last two meetings and Big Ten titles.

The Buckeyes got their revenge last season at Spartan Stadium for MSU’s 2013 Big Ten title game upset, and while the 2014 game featured two top-15 squads, the 2015 edition could be even more important. While the Spartans suffered a fourth quarter collapse last season against the Oregon Ducks, MSU appears to have a better shot at beating Oregon in 2015 — therefore setting up a likely battle between two undefeated and potential top-five teams in MSU and OSU.

The East division winner, conference champion and College Football Playoff winner very well could come out of this one. There’s even an outside shot that both participants of this game could end up in the four-team playoff.

Michigan State has a line capable of punishing whoever wins Ohio State’s quarterback competition, but will a less-experienced MSU secondary fall on their faces again versus the Buckeyes’ aerial attack?

Can Michigan State beat Ohio State when it’s at its peak, making the leap from one of the best teams to national champion?

Does Ohio State have what it takes to capture the elusive back-to-back championship hardware?

All of this and more will be answered the second-to-last game of the season at the Horseshoe. It simply doesn’t get any better than that.
